(四下)Unit 3 Weather B Let's talk Let’s play

一、教材分析:

本部分学习的核心句型是:What’s the weather like in New York/ …? It’s rainy./ …Is it cold / …? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.教材通过Mark和Chen Jie在电话中相互询问所在地的气温和天气情况的场景,使学生感知上述句型的语义及语用情景。

二、教学目标: 1.能力目标

(1)能够理解对话大意,并能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。

(2)能够在情景中恰当运用句型What’s the weather like in New York/ …? It’s rainy./ …对天气情况进行询问。

2.知识目标

(1)能听懂、会说、认读句型What’s the weather like in New York/ …?.It’s rainy./ …Is it cold / …? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.(2)能够在语境中理解新词句rainy、degrees、New York、How about…?的意思,并能够正确发音。

3、情感、文化、策略目标

(1)情感目标:关心日常天气变化,能够对气候特点和天气情况进行描述并能及时提醒家人、朋友根据天气变化更换衣服。

(2)文化目标:了解世界主要城市的天气差异和谈论天气所具有的寒暄功能。

(3)学习策略:了解中西方对气温描述时的差异,了解华氏摄氏度温度的概念。

三、教学重、难点: 1.重点:使学生熟练掌握What’s the weather like in New York/ …? It’s rainy./ …句型的用法。

2.难点:句型What’s the weather like in New York/ …? It’s rainy/ …的掌握及应用。

四、教学过程:

(师课前在黑板上画四个组,哪个学生表现好就给哪个学生奖励一个笑脸,然后贴在自己组内。)

T: Be quiet, boys and girls.Today I’m glad to meet you.I’m very happy to be your new teacher.You can call me Mi Li.I hope we’ll be good friends.Nice to meet you.S: Nice to meet you, too.Hello, boys and girls.Now, I’ll divide you into four groups, Group 1, Group 2, Group3, Group 4.If you do well, I’ll give you a smiling face.You can put it here.Come on , boys and girls.(课前完成)

Step 1.Preparation(准备活动)1.Free talk.T: Are you ready, boys and girls? OK!Now cla begin!Good morning boys and girls!S: Good morning teacher!T: Sit down, please!T: Now, first let’s chant.Clap hands.Follow, please.1.First, let’s chant.(四下第三单元)师放录音,师生拍手chant。

(设计意图:通过chant及师生交流等方式既创设一个轻松的学习氛围,激发学生的学习兴趣。)

T: Well done.The chant is about weather.Today we are going on learning weather.we’ll learn Unit 3 B Let’s talk.Today I’m a good weather reporter.Do you want to be a weather reporter? I think you’re great.Now I’m a CCTV weather reporter.Listen to me.(呈现中国天气图)Today it’s warm in Beijing.It’s 20℃.It’s cold in Harbin.It’s 5℃.It’s hot in Hong Kong… In my leon, if you do well, you’ll be a good weather reporter like me.Come on!Follow me, please.2.Look at the cards.Can you read? (一)听音前看图预测

PPT呈现Chen Jie and Mark的图片问: T: Now, look at the photos.“Who is she ?” Ss: Chen Jie T: Who is he ?

Ss: 不会师介绍:This is my new friend, Mark领读两遍。T:Yes.T: They are Chen Jie and Mark.They are talking on the phone.T: What are they talking about? Gue.学生猜一猜,T: Maybe.S1:Weather.S2: Storybook.S3: Food.T: What else?(设计意图:在听音看视频前先进行看图预测。)

(二)整体感知文本,理解文本大意。

带着简单的问题试听全文视频,回答问题,让学生从整体理解对话的大意。PPT呈现问题:What are they talking about?

T: Now listen to the tape.PPT播放整段视频,学生边观看边听,T:Which one? A or B? 找一生回答 A.Weather.B.Storybook.S: A

(PPT出示答案。)T: Yes or no? S: Yes T: Yes, great.This is for you.Choose A “weather” means”天气”课件出示天气。Oh, we know.Chen Jie and Mark are talking about weather, too.(设计意图:通过试听整体感知对话,回答问题,让学生理解本节课的对话大意。

(三)带着问题视听第二遍录音,获取对话细节信息,学习核心句型What’s the weather like in New York/ …? It’s rainy.T:Look at the picture, “Where does Mark live?” do you know

S: New York.T: Yes.New York.Clever.Now follow me.师课件出示单词New York并领读两遍, 然后PPT出示纽约市自由女神象的照片并简单介绍:New York City is the biggest city in America.It has another name :the Big Apple.T: Today is fine.It’s warm in Junan.What’s the weather like in New York? 1.T: Now listen and choose: Chen Jie: What’s the weather like in New York?(师放课件呈现对话内容)A.rainy.B.warm.师播放录音,生听音选择答案。找一生回答,T: Which one? A or B? S1:A.rainy.T: Yes or no? S: Yes.T: Yes.It’s rainy.This is for you.并粘贴主句型“What’s the weather like in New York?” 师边贴边读,.教师领读两遍,并引导学生关注weather的发音(分音节教学)和in的使用(师读in, in New York?)。

并粘贴句型:It’s rainy.师边贴边说: It’s rainy.粘贴完成之后,课件出示rainy师领读rainy,男女生读,个读(开火车读);再领读主句型,师问生答,生问师答,男生问女生答,女生问男生答,组1问组2答,组3问组4答,一生问一生答(开火车问答)。

T:Ok, Very good!Now let’s chant together.First listen to me carefully how to chant.师拍手示范然后师生一起吟唱 what’s, what’s? What’s the weather like? New York?

New York? In New York.What’s the weather like in New York? Rainy, rainy.It’s rainy.It’s rainy.(设计意图:用chant的形式突破句型What’s the weather like in New York? It’s rainy.的学习)

巩固练习两个:(T:Look at the pictures.Answer the two questions.No.1)

(1)What’s the weather like in Hainan? 用天气图片告知学生,让生找出答案。

Ss:It’s...(hot)

(2)What’s the weather like in Harbin?

Ss:It’s...(cold)

T: OK, good job!Now we know it’s rainy in New York.How about Beijing? Do you know? “how about…?” means“……怎么样?……情况如何?”教学how about…?领读两遍,强调读音及在该句型中的意义即可。

T: Ok!Now listen and answer the question.师播放录音,生听音回答问题。

S: It’s warm.T: Yes.You are clever!It’s warm in Beijing.T: Now we know it’s warm in Beijing.It’s 26 degrees.课件出示答案

T:“ degrees” means’度,度数’ 并教读degrees,领读,男女生读,开火车个读。

T: Now look here, 出示温度计,显示华氏度和摄氏度,让生明白华氏度和摄氏度之间的不同。(You, please.Read it.)找生读一读,接着师说,T:Chen Jie says” It’s warm.It’s 26 degrees in Beijing”.Mark thinks it is cold.Why did Mark think it is cold? Now do you know? S:Yes.(设计意图:处理degrees.了解中西方对气温描述时的差异,了解华氏摄氏度温度的概念。)华氏度=32+摄氏度*1.82、T: Yes.Super!Look at the picture, Which picture is right according to the dialogue? Now listen and choose..再听一遍材料,找出对话中提到了哪些天气。阅读完后,教师呈现纽约和北京的照片。照片中的天气分别是下雨和晴天。

T:Which picture is right according to the dialogue ? T: Which one? S: Beijing.T: Yes or no? S: Yes.T: Good.This is for you.学生指认正确照片后,教师利用照片进一步提问,T:Look at the picture, is it cold in Beijing? S: No, it isn’t.T: Is it warm? S: Yes, it is.同时师板书:Is it cold / …? No, it isn’t./ Yes, it is.师领读,分男、女生问师,男女生互问,个别生问师,师回答。

T: OK, good job!Now let’s make an exercise.(课件出示两幅片,让生判断对错)Look at the first question:

利用头饰分角色表演。T: Stop here.Now let’s act.T: I am Mark, Who want to be Chen Jie? Come here!T: Which group can show us?找两组生表演。(设计意图:通过听音模仿,师生扮演角色朗读,生生朗读,各种形式的练习让学生充分掌握对话内容。)

Step 4 Production(输出运用)

T: Look at these maps, this is…,this is…,先向学生介绍一遍各个国家,熟悉国家的读法,T: Look at the map.Who can make a dialogue like this with me?(指课件中的例子说)

T: You, please.I am A.You are B.Ready? 然后师生示范,生小组内练习,找生展示。师检查评价得太阳。T: Now, practice in your groups.One is A.One is B.One, Two, three, go!仿照例子:

A: What’s the weather like in New York/ …?

B: It’s warm/… It’s 20/…degrees.T: Who can?(找同一组的两生展示)......(设计意图: 利用课本图片做替换练习巩固操练所学句型)

2、John and Sarah are Chenjie’s good friends.They want to have a trip.So they 打电话12121天气预报热线。(带上头饰卡)教师示范作为12121天气预报接线员,怎样接听电话。小组内组长为接线员,接听组员的电话询问天气。(每组一个头饰卡)Make a dialogue like this in your group.2、Make a survey.出示自己制作的图画,国旗及天气情况先观察后采访对方的天气情况。(1)师与一生做示范(生拿图片互问师图片中的城市天气情况如何,师通过问生,得知生的图片的天气情况,然后做记录):师拿图画找一生仿照例子示范,I am A, you are B.完成之后师评价,Good job!T: Boys and girls, look at the chart.I’ll make a survey.Then write it here(指课件中的对话)You, please.I am A.You are B.Ready? Go.Eg 1:

A: Hello!I’m …(头饰).I’m from...Where are you from? B: Hello!I’m…(头饰).I’m from...A: What’s the weather like in …?

B: It’s…It’s …degree(s).A: Thank you.Eg 2: A: Hello!I’m Chen Jie(头饰).I’m from Beijing.B: Hello!I’m John(头饰).I’m from Toronto.Nice to meet you.A: Nice to meet you, too.What’s the weather like in Beijing/ …?.B: It’s rainy.How about Toronto? Is it warm? A: No, it isn’t.B: Is it cold/…?

A: Yes, it is.It’s cold/….It’s 7/…degree(s).Now listen to my weather report.It’s warm in Beijing.It’s 15 degrees.It’s warm in New York.It’s 20 degrees.It’s cold in Toronto.It’s 7 degrees…

(2)Make a survey in groups.Ask and answer like this.Finish your table.Then choose a group leader and give a weather report to us.Understand me? Go!小组活动:小组内利用事先准备好的图片进行练习,一生问问题,一生答,同时做好记录。

(3)汇报展示。

T: Are you OK? OK.Now let’s make a report.Which group can show us a weather report?(找两生展示)You, please.Clap your hands for them!

展示完之后,师及时评价并给与奖励(太阳)(4)情感教育:关心日常天气变化,够对气候特点和天气情况进行描述并能及时提醒家人、朋友根据天气变化更换衣服。

PPt课件展示图片,师解说:Protect yourself!Change your clothes in time!(设计意图:学习语言的目的是运用语言,小组练习使所有学生处于真实交际状态。它能使学生运用所学语言句型真实的表达出他们的想法,培养学生综合运用所学语言的能力,并渗透情感教育。)

Step5 Progre1、做当堂达标题:配套练习册P20第一题和第二题(此题当堂有时间就做,没时间让生课下做)让生独立做,然后生生交换检查,给与评价。

(设计意图:让学生自己总结然后师给予补充。)

3.T: Let’s count.Which group is the winner? G3 is the winner.Congratulations!4.Homework:(1)Listen to the tape and read the dialogue.并另编两组对话。(2)Make a survey.Ask your friends in the difference places on the phone about the weather and make a report to your partner next cla.(设计意图:由易到难,将英语课堂学习延伸到课外,达到学以致用。)
