设计chant、游戏和写作等情境活动让学生进一步巩固学习内容，提高孩子综合运用知识的能力。
教学过程：
一、Preparation.

通过简单的问候让孩子们快速进入学习状态中，并且引出日期的表达方式。
二、Presentation
T：How many months are there in a year? What are they?
本课表达日期是要用到月份，通过这个环节来复习之前学过的12个月份。 T：I’ll show you some pictures about festivals. Guess what festival is it?

2、 Thanksgiving

三、Practice
1、T：Which festival is it ? 观看网络搜集到的和圣诞节相关的视频资源。 S：Christmas.
T: Let’s say something about Christmas. 大屏幕出示网络搜集到的和圣诞节相关的图片，复习有关圣诞节的相关物品的英语名称。
T: (Show some pictures) What are they? (适时板书)
2、T：Let’s listen and look at some pictures.
对圣诞节的来历、文化、习俗有一个大体的`了解，渗透西方文化。
3、T：Show five questions on the screen. Read them and try to understand. T: Play the video. Listen to the dialogue.
T: Read the dialogue and find the answers.
运用任务型教学方法，让孩子们带着问题来自主学习课文，教师引导学生解决问题。
4、 T: Listen and repeat.
5、 Look at the words on the blackboard and describe Christmas.
让孩子们在学习完对话后能够简单的复述出课文。
6、 Say a chant.
将课文内容改编为一个chant，进一步巩固课文，从而调节课堂氛围。
四、Production
1. Fill in the blanks.
2.Guessing game. Show some pictures of festivals(来自于网络的各个国家节日的场景图片)。 Describe them in your groups. Then show a festival and four red packets. Choose a red packets and answer the questions about the festival.
