Honorable judges!Ladies and gentlemen Good evening.My name is Cheng Nanlong , major in busine administration.It’s my great pleasure to stand here to present my speech.What I am going to talk about today is what makes a succeful man, in my view, Unceasing effort makes you succeed.There is no doubt that everyone wants to achieve succe.Me either.And someone may always complains how to succeed.In my opinion, succe is just like climbing mountains.If you want to reach the top of the mountain, you have to keep climbing up step by step and overcome all the difficulties during the way.There is no easy way to climb up without paying.Likewise, there is no elevator to succe, you have to take stairs.I’m sure you have all tried doing a lot of new things.Whether it’s learning a new instrument , or learning a new language.In order to master piano, you have to practice everyday no matter how boring it is;to learn a foreign language well, you have to start with the very basics and learn step by step.And we can say ,” Unceasing effort is the price of succe.”
To illustrate this, I would like to give an example.Michael Jordan, the basketball superstar, it's easy for you to see his achievements.However, what you don’t see is the price of blood and sweat that he has paid.If you think that he was born to play basketball and is easy to succeed.I’d like to say that you are wrong.Do you know the story that Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team because of his height? Instead of giving up,he trained harder and made more effort to play.Finally, he succeeded and became a popular basketball player.it’s about years and years of hard work and practice.As the saying goes ,” Everything comes to him who waits!” So we can sure about that unceasing effort makes you succeed.Thanks for listening!
