Last week I made a servey about college stutents’ reading habbits.I investigated 47 students in WTU to konw we students’ reading habbits and made a conclusion.According to the bar graph about the types of books read by college students,half of students love to read Chinese novels and about 30% students choose to read foreign novels.This prove that most students like to read novels in university.“I love to read love novels in my mobile phone,and my boyfriend lost in fantasy novels,these novel are popular nowadays!” said by a girl in my cla.This bar graph shows that how much time students spend on reading every week.Nearly 35% of students read books about two hours per week.And about one third read about four hours a week.It indicates that most college students don’t spend much time on reading.When and where do they read ? The two charts above shows that nearly all students prefer to read before sleeping or on weekends and the vast majority of students are willing to read in dormitory or go to library.Interviewing some students in my cla ,they said they like to read novels before sleeping in dormitory and read academic books on weekends in the library.Based on the figure shown in the pie chart about the aim of students’ reading,we can see that half of students read out of interests,a quarter of students read to expand their horizon or learn some knoeledge.From the bar chart we can konw obviously that nearly all people think reading has a positive influence on us.According to a interview made by a CCTV journalist,many people said that reading is beneficial to our works and lives,especially in the talent market.
