首先，innovation(创新)，那能够展现你具备创新意识方面的内容有哪些呢?比如是否发表过论文，有没有参加过演讲比赛，辩论比赛或作文比赛，有没有获过奖。除了创新方面，我们还可以从social practice(社会实践)和academic research(学术研究)方面的内容来展开。比如我们曾在大学期间做过哪些社会实践，从中有过什么样的收获，参与过哪个方面的学术研究，这些都可以重点提及。有同学可能会说，老师我没有做过相关的学术研究，那该怎么办?如果是这样的话，其实，我们也可以谈一谈大学本科的毕业论文设计，大家一定要明白老师最想听到什么，要有所针对，没有必要舍本逐末地把我的家庭，我的家乡等等这些内容长篇累牍地展开介绍，要有所侧重。
面试环节进行过程中，有时面试老师会提一些challenging questions(具有挑战性的话题)，即一些比较难回答的问题，类似If you fail to pass this examination, how would you do?(如果你没考上怎么办?) 问类似问题，并不意味着你真考不上，而是面试官想要考查一下你的心理素质，看一下你的反应。我们千万不要以为自己前面表现的`不好，千万不能出现慌乱的情绪，要take it easy. 也有的同学为了表决心，会这样回答，说：不成功便成仁。如果这样回答的话，其实没有哪个老师敢要你。因为做科研什么的，实验失败的概率太高了，动不动就成仁，这还了得，那该怎么答呢?
其实面试老师更愿意听到这样的答案，老师，我会再考一年，但失败后，我会主动去找各位老师谈一下，搞清楚与其他学生相比，我的弱势在哪儿?然后进行针对性查漏补缺，希望明年能考上。接到类似具有挑战性的话题，一定要想好该如何回答。再比如，如果问你，Did you pass the CET-6 during the college time? (在大学期间，你通过六级考试了吗?)如果没过，就一定要坦诚的说，没过。然后再加以补充说，但我已经认识到了英语的重要性，我会努力通过的。可千万不要说，我平时做实验很忙，没时间考之类的话。这是很明显在为自己找借口，老师一听就听出来了，一定要坦诚些。
另外，我们需要了解的是面试场合并不是只有一位面试官，通常会有多位面试老师。这些面试老师其实是有分工的。所谓的分工就是有黑脸，白脸之分。有人唱白脸，有人唱黑脸，负责唱黑脸的老师总是在疯狂地找你的茬，挑你的刺儿。遇到这样的情况，如果你觉得自己说的确实有道理，一定要据理力争，但要有礼貌，切不可顶撞老师。如果认为老师挑刺儿挑的对，就要勇于承认自己的不足之处。
除此之外，要注意面试过程中，问题的关联性。所谓关联性，就是提的问题前后有联系。很多面试老师在提问时，喜欢在你对上一个问题的回答中，搜索下一个问题的影子，相关性非常强。比如，面试官会问，Do you have any hobbies?(你有什么兴趣爱好吗?)有同学会说，I like reading books, especially celebrities biographies.(我喜欢阅读书刊，尤其是一些名人传记)。为了避免自己给自己挖坑儿，出现回答不上来的尴尬场面，那么回答每个问题时都需要小心谨慎，尽量提前把有可能问到的问题梳理一遍。

大凡找工作的人，都有对面试的担心，而英语面试最令人头痛。面试气氛总是紧张的，一紧张就容易出错，中文“台词”都会结巴，何况英语！
可俗话说，养兵千日，用兵一时，学了那么多年英语，好歹有些积累，总不能栽在这上面。那么，如何过好英语面试这一关呢？
外企英语面试啥样子？
各外企的英语面试形式各异，但基本流程是差不多的。
第一轮面试一般由公司人力资源部的人员担任考官，他们会从你的个人简历出发，询问一些有关个人的问题，比如请你用英语做一个自我介绍。有些公司，也会有一部分英语笔试，如雅芳公司，其笔试中包含一个中英互译的项目，主要考查应聘者基本的语言运用能力。
第二轮面试则由部门主管经理出面，这时候，有关业务方面的问题成了面试的重点，所以英语面试也从个人情况转向了专业领域。比如应聘市场部，则应聘者通常会被要求谈一谈以往最成功的一个案例，或者自身的业务强项等。
如果前面一路绿灯大亮，那么，最后一轮面试就要和bigbo———公司的总裁面对面了。外企的总裁一般是老外，当然面试就变成全英语的了。总裁询问的问题一般会和公司的精神、企业文化有关。一位曾任职默沙东制药的小姐说，她在参加的默沙东最后一轮面试时，默沙东老总看到她是学新闻出身的，便要求她谈谈对中国新闻媒体的看法，因为默沙东制药一直对新闻媒体有其比较独特的态度。通过这样比较宏观的问题，招聘方想要发现的是，应聘者的理念是否与公司的文化精神相契合。
如何应对英语面试
英语从小开始学，可学了10来年，有的人还是“哑巴英语”。到了要找饭碗的紧要关头，则对一些“成功英语面试培训”饥不择食。其实，冰冻三尺，非一日之寒，速成是不可能的，只能在平时积累的基础上，注意一些细节，运用一些技巧，给自己加上几个成功的筹码。
首先，平时要注意训练听力，至少要听得懂考官的问题，如果考官一个问题出来，你却听得云里雾里，然后来两三个“Pardon”，那现场气氛定会急转直下。说话要流利，思维要连贯，层次要清晰，不要夹杂中文，可以用“well”、“however”这样的过渡词来给自己停顿和思考，同时，也使得自己的表述显得口语化一些。
其次，发音要标准。在与外国bo面谈的过程中，发音的正确清晰与否是最为重要的。不要因为害怕犯语法错误而不敢说，大多数时候一些细小的语法错误并不影响交际的进行，老外们也不会特别在意。如果要说某个词却一时想不起来，那就换种说法，尽量避免卡壳，卡壳会导致冷场。总之不管怎么样，都要自信满满地，把英文说得让人听上去像那么回事。
■先期准备
主要是个人情况和业务方面。专业英语的准备要充足，有时会被要求用英语解释一个专业术语或解答一个技术问题。还可去公司的英文网站了解一下企业文化，这在与bigbo面谈的中会有帮助的。
