一、基本情况
今年全省共报名xxxx人，比去年增加x万余人。我市报名xxxx人，在全省占第x位，比去年xxxx人增加xxxx人，增长率为xx%。今年全市共设xx个考点、xxx个考场、xx种考试科目，其中专升本x个考点、xxx个考场，高中起点升本、专科x个考点、xxx个考场，需抽调监考教师及工作人员xxxx人（监考教师xxxx人），省下派巡视人员xx人，从市纪委抽调纪检工作人员xx人，从市教育局抽调巡视人员及工作人员xx余人。
二、xxxx年全省招生新趋势
全省成人高校招生报名人数呈逐年下降趋势，以至于出现部分学校和部分专业生源倒挂现象，即招生计划数大于报名数（xxxx学院去年几百个招生计划，仅几十人报考，今年已取消其招生计划）。鉴于此种情况，教育部今年大幅削减了安徽省招生计划。但今年我省报名人数又有新的增加，以至于我省今年考生数同招生计划比例为2：1，尤其是高中起点的报名数和招生计划差别更大，比例接近3：1，具体数字见见下表：
三、xxxx年成人高校招生的改革措施
1、部属院校停止招收脱产生，明年省民办院校脱产生招生计划也不能超过总招生计划的x%，以后还要逐年下降。
2、考生进考场时间和离场时间同高考一致。
3、建立考生诚信考试档案，考生如在成人招生考试中有作弊行为，国家考试机构将记录在案，以后该生每次参加国家教育考试都可查到，录取后电子档案中也有作弊记录。
4、省教育厅在全省考务会议以后将召开一次有关招生单位的联席会议，要求考试期间每市出动一台“无线电信息监控车”，用以对可疑信息的监控。
5、对全省xxxx多名外省籍身份证号码考生和xxx多名同一号码两处报名的考生重点检查，特别是对xxx余名同一身份证两处报名者，省考试院将逐一通知到人，查明原因，要求在一处考试。往年省教育厅默认外省考生在我省报名，鼓励我们加强宣传多报名，今年已禁止了。
四、xxxx年成人高校招生考试考务工作安排
xxxx年成人高校招生考试考务工作已基本安排就绪，考点、考场设置表及考生准考证已下发到各县市区招办和各报名点，我们也将在xx月x日上午召开各考点考务工作会议，xx教育局分管局长参会，布置相关工作，发放相关材料。

六、建议市招委明确有关招委成员单位具体职责
1、公安部门抽调三人参与试卷接运送过程的押护和保密室值守；加强考点的安全保卫和周边交通秩序的维护。2、市无线委安排无线电监测车对考点周边可疑信号进行监测、监控、定位。
3、市纪委抽调十名干部参与成考巡视工作。
4、电力部门保证电力供电，确保考试期间考试和保密安全用电。
5、电信运营企业部门要按照省招委、教育厅、监察厅和通信管理局四部门联合下发的x招委[xxxx]xx号通知要求，成考期间要确定专人对手机等通信工具进行严密监控，停止有关考试数字信息传送，严防高科技作弊。
6、卫生、防疫部门要做好考生食宿卫生检查，并抽调医生到没有校医的考点，负责考生及考试工作人员的健康安全。
7、交通部门安排技术好的汽车驾驶员和车况好的车辆在考试开始前和结束后做好考生接送工作。
8、师范学院、职业技术学院、科技职业技术学院对学生进行诚信教育，防止考生参与替考。
9、宣传部门加大对严肃考风考纪的宣传，对考生进行诚信教育，引导考生和社会各阶层正确对待考试。

Passage Two
Deep inside a mountain near Sweetwater in East. Tennessee is a body of water known as the Lost Sea. It is listed by the Guinness Book of Would Records as the world’s largest underground lake. The Lost Sea is part of an extensive and historic cave system called Craighead Caverns.
The caverns have been known and used since the days of the Cherokee Indian nation. The cave expands into a series of huge rooms from a small opening on the side of the mountain. Approximately one mile from the entrance, in a room called “The Council Room,” many Indian artisfacts have been found. Some of the items discovered include pottery, arrowheads, weapons, and jewelry.

Generations of Americans have been brought up to believe that a good breakfast is one life’s essentials. Eating breakfast at the start of the day, we have all been told, and told again, is as necessary as putting gasoline in the family car before starting a trip.

About 35% of all high school graduates in America continue their education in an institution of higher learning. The word college is used to refer to either a college or a university. These institutions offer four-year programs that lead to a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor Science
(B.S.) degree. Some students attend a junior college (providing only a two-year program) for one to two years before entering a four-year college as a sophomore (二年级生) or junior (三年级生).
It is generally easier to be accepted at a state university than at a private one.
