“遥远、神秘、美丽、富饶……”，古时的东方大国——中国，在世界的幻想中被赋予了这么一个形象。由于高大绵延的喜马拉雅山脉等巨大山脉环绕于西面与北面，隔断了西方文化向东方的传播，让中国成为一个文化传统完全独立的国家，风格、民俗、风化等与其它大部分国家迥然不同。中国拥有悠久完整的历史和不可复制的深厚文化底蕴，它们点缀着中国，仿佛一条白绢绣上了无与伦比的精美图案。陶瓷文化，便是在这条白绢上绽放了八千余年的一朵奇葩。
陶瓷的历史距今已有八千多年。古时的半坡氏人用火烧制泥碗泥盆。由于追求美的天性，半坡氏人便在未烧的泥制半成品上绘成简单美丽的图案。这些泥制的日常用品，算得上是陶瓷的鼻祖了。随着人类文明的进步，陶瓷被烧制得越来越精美小巧，但它们不是老百姓的日常用具，只有在达官贵族之家，陶瓷才会被当作工艺品来供人欣赏，摆在橱柜里装饰正厅闺房。由于各地的自然条件、风土人情的不同，各个地区的瓷器风格与质量也略有差异，其中最具盛名的就为江西景德镇陶瓷，古时称昌南陶瓷。唐朝的开发，让许多国家认识到了最繁荣的中国，也认识到中国最独特的陶瓷，并且非常喜爱这些优雅细腻的器具。因昌南陶瓷为瓷中佳品，西方国家便记住了瓷中佳品之乡“昌南”，并以此音译为中国陶瓷的独有名词——“china”，之后又将此单词首字母大写来代表“中国”。
陶瓷造型优雅、质感细腻，图案大多清秀带有灵气，蕴含着一种难以言语的深刻美感；与图案相隔一体的诗歌词赋题于瓶身，更增强了陶瓷器具的韵味。细细品味那瓷瓶上的山水人物、花鸟鱼虫与应景诗文，仿佛如临其境、身在其中、回味无穷。那种感觉，只可意会，难以言传啊！
在古代，几乎所有的日常器具都是陶瓷制品：瓷碗、瓷盘、瓷杯、瓷瓶等，在生活中随处可见，所以陶瓷文化得以延续，并且发展至今。而现在，真正的陶瓷制品正在慢慢远离大众，与普通大众的生活脱节，成为一种高端昂贵的奢侈品，成为商人牟利的工具！取而代之的则是效仿陶瓷的仿瓷制品。仿瓷并非真正的陶瓷制品，只是用工业原料制造后再将图案印刷上去的，无论质地、图案都与真正的陶瓷有着天壤之别。在我家，我翻遍了所有的抽屉橱柜，只发现有两个菜盘是真正的陶瓷制品，而这两个盘子还是我奶奶年轻时用过遗留下来的！其它的便都是仿瓷制品了。
众所周知，陶瓷是我国宝贵的“物质文化遗产”。但我始终不能接受：中国曾经的代名词如今竟然沦落成了中国文化的“遗产”！那究竟什么才是现代的中国文化？如果让西方人眼中的“China（中国）”失去“china（陶瓷）”，这只能意味着中国文化传承的`巨大失败！我们应该让真正的陶瓷走进千家万户，而不是把它贴上“昂贵”的标签陈列在富人的橱柜里！中国的陶瓷文化需要延续！
我曾经到过江西永和吉州窑遗址参观，见到了景德镇陶瓷研究学院在此设立的陶瓷研究室。陶瓷研究学院的专业老师和学生们，的确在传承陶瓷工艺。但是，他们只是把陶瓷当作一种艺术品来制作，去追求，追求成为一个“陶瓷艺术家”，追求自己的作品能在市场中竞出“天价”！从来没有想过自己的成果能否走进普通大众的生活。但我们必须记住，陶瓷制作源于广大劳动人民的智慧，只有让它与广大劳动人民的生活紧密联系，它才能永不失传！如果我们能把现代工业技术与陶瓷工艺融合，研究出一种新的陶土材料，和古老的陶土材料制出的陶瓷器具质感相同甚至更胜一筹，并且这种材料可以耐高温，放入微波炉中加热也不会破碎变形且制出的陶器物美价廉。这样一来，真正的陶瓷就会走进普通大众的生活，陶瓷技术也将会继续延续！
中国是陶瓷之乡，陶瓷是中国大宝。“陶瓷”得到的应该是传承和发扬，而不是效仿和埋没！这就是我的中国梦，“china（陶瓷）”梦！
