As we all know, water is essential in our daily life. We drink water every day, we use water to wash things and cook food, we also use water to make machines. People can't live without water.
我们都知道水对于日常生活的`重要性。我们每天喝水，用水洗东西和烹制食物，我们还用水来制造机器。离开水，人类就无法存活。
Though about 75% of the earth is covered with water, only 3% of it is fresh water. So we must save water by having a shower instead of a bath. We can save water by fixing dripping taps immediately and we can also save water by not washing under a running tap.
虽然地球75%都被水覆盖，但其中只有3%是淡水。所以我们应该用淋浴代替泡澡来节约水，同时及时修好滴水的水龙头，并且不要开着水龙头洗东西。

Last summer,big floods occurred in both the south and north of China.They were the most serious ones in this century.They caused great loses.Fields were ruined,houses were washed away and many people became homeless.
There are three reasons for the floods.First,it had kept raining for months.Secondly,many forests had been cut down and the soil was washed away.Finally,some lakes had been turned into fields,which seriously blocked the waterways.
Now,some measures have been taken to prevent floods from happening again.The trees along the rivers have been protected;old dams have been rebuilt and some fields have been turned back into lakes again.

With the help of the Internet，shopping is not a difficult job. Just click your mouse to choose the article you like，and the shopping is finished. You needn't step out of the room。
It seems easy and quick. But there's always a trap（陷阱）online. If you are careless，it will bring you some trouble. You may find the color of the article is different from what you want，or the size is either too small or too big. If you want to be different，you'd better not buy clothes online. Once you put on the clothes you bought online and go out，you will find many people wear the same clothes in the street。
So you must be careful，because everything has two sides。

August 7 2008This morning I went to the English corner which is in the park near my home.It is three years since it was founded.Many middle school students as well as college students and foreigners take part in the activity.People there practice speaking English by talking about something interesting.People also exchange the experience in English Learning.I think it is a good chance for me to use what I have learnt in my English cla.I felt very cool after I got back home.I’ll try my best to learn English better, for it is so widely used in the world.August 13 2008
Yesterday we played happily, but there were only ten people.I remembered last year there were twenty-two people at all.I heard some my friends had gone abroad.They went abroad to study.Maybe I couldn’t see them in the future.I think next year we won’t make a party.Next year is a very important year.We all will prepare the new term’s new subject.I know, it is the most important for us now.August 19 2008
My parents love me very much.They take good care of me in everyday life.When I have problem, I
always ask them for help.They often encourage me to do my best in my leons at school and they expect me to become a top student in my cla or in my school.They always want to me to spend all my time on my leons.I like music and I am interested in the Internet.When I spend some time listening the music or online in the evening, they will stop me from doing that.I have told them I want to study well and I also want to enjoy life.So I hope we can understand each other soon.August 19 2008
The 2008 Olympic Games is drawing near.All of us are looking forward to it.In order to host a
succeful Olympic Games, we need to do a lot of hard work.For example, we should improve the traffic condition in Beijing.I think we can have a better traffic as long as we take steps in three different ways.First, we need to control the rapid growth of the number of private cars, because too many private cars will lead to serious traffic jams, as well as air pollution.Second, we must make greater efforts to develop ma transportation system, such as bus lines and subway lines.Third, we must educate the public to let them better understand the traffic laws and regulations.If the above-mentioned measures are succefully taken, I’m sure the traffic situation of Beijing will be much better by 2008.
