There is a child in this picture. Why does the child cry? Maybe his parents want to go back home, but when the explosion happened, suddenly the train rang, his parents did not know where to go, only the child was left here crying!

That was the first time for me to e to America. The trip was much more exciting than I had expected. As planned I got my plane ticket and started my journey. Everything went smoothly at first. I departed from my home city Qingdao and changed a larger plane in Seoul South Korea. The second day the plane arrived in Chicago on time and I was in high spirits for I almost got to my destination-SMSU (Southwest Missouri State University) in Springfield. Just at that time something unexpected happened. When I went through the customs the immigration officer asked me about the 9-year-old boy who travelled with me all the way from China. As a matter of fact I didnt really know the boy before. Before I left China his grandparents heard that I was ing to Springfield through Chicago so they asked me to take this boy to his parents who work in Chicago. The boy had all the necessary documents including his passport American visa etc. Without any hesitation I agreed to take care of the boy on my way to Chicago. I explained to the officer but he insisted that I should show the boys parents?letter inviting the boy to America which we didnt bring with us. The officer asked us to stay aside and after a while another officer came and brought us to a special room and ordered us to be quiet. When I looked around I found another man there whose ankle was fastened with fetters to a bench leg. It was obvious that I had lost my freedom. They probably thought I was a smuggler who smuggle children to America.

Last Sunday,I took the GRE. It was the longest test I had ever taken. I entered the examination room at eight o’clock and did not come out until twelve. For the first hour I sat there waiting anxiously for the proctor to give out the paper. Then the exam officially began. I saw nothing but the test paper. How time flew. I did one section after another. The test was over without my knowing it.
Earlier I had taken many teats, yet at no test did I feel time so limited as this one. Usually there is plenty of time for me to go over what I have written when I finish the test. I would sit there waiting restlessly for the test to be over.
But this time, it took me over twenty minutes to have finished the two sections on math at a much slower speed than usual. God bless me. I wish I had been careful enough this time.
At noon, someone came over to talk with me about the test, which put me in doubt of whether or not I had put the number of my test certificate right on the answer sheet. I was sure I fined in the number, but I did not remember whether or not I had circled the corresponding number under it.
Howevet, maybe all of My efforts are not made in vain. It would be terrible if I got no grades after working so hard.

In the afternoon, we took a bus to a building where the governors worked to interview a grandpa, who used to work for the young generation.
He is kind, and healthy, though he is over eighty. He loves working, especially working for the youth. He feels more energetic as he talks with kids. At last, he asked us to sing a song for him. We sent a boy on behalf of us all to sing a happy song. He didn’t disappoint us, making everyone present laugh for a while. When the interview ended, we headed back to the newspaper office.The leader handed each of us a diploma and the photos we took that morning. Good time passed quickly. We said good-bye to each other, and then we parted. Yeah, we’ve become friends though we haven’t known each other very long.
