看啊！叶间又开出鲜艳美丽的花朵了，一个个新生命都出现了。我常常在想：生命是什么？这个看似简单但又复杂的问题让很多人都不明白。直到有一次让我认识了一个特殊的朋友，才让我有些明白了，生命是坚强乐观的。
有一次我去朋友家玩，刚好碰上她姐姐也在家，我朋友告诉我，她姐姐从小就弱智，思维和幼儿园的小朋友差不多。我们刚想做作业，哪知姐姐比我们先占住书桌，还迅速拿出书本和笔，在书本上像模像样的写起字来，我悄悄的看了一眼她写的字体和效率，基本上都写对了，字体跟我朋友差不多，这时她停了下笔，然后又写了一个可能谁都不认识的字，但她写了又擦，擦了又写，这样反反复复弄了很多次，本子都快擦烂了，就在这一瞬间，我被她的动作深深感动了，她是多么认真，多么地坚强啊！即使是一百次跌倒也要一百零一次站起来。我想，姐姐虽然不了解或一点也不知道，但我似乎看见了，仿佛感受到了她内心就有这种概念吧！
我们写完作业后，朋友提议说打兵乓球，姐姐听后很疑惑，可能心里有很多疑问，也许不懂什么叫兵乓球。我和朋友打了几盘下来，觉得姐姐也应该明白点什么是兵乓球了吧，可能也很想玩，我就把我手里的球拍递给姐姐，她拿着球拍这看那看，好像很新奇，接着她拿起球来就乱打一通，一回合下来，姐姐就打了死球，我为了能让姐姐多玩几个回合，就对她说，这次不算，她似乎知道了，一字一顿地说：“没——关——系，我们——按——玩！”我听出来了，她少了规则两个子，我们只好继续打了。
晚上回到家后，心里一直在想：我真佩服那个姐姐，而且她心里肯定一直在祈盼着，祈盼着她可以和正常人一样。所以我下定决心，一定要珍惜生命，好好学习，不怕困难不怕跌倒，决不白白浪费它，使自己活的更加光彩有力！

那么怎样才能让生命发挥价值，现实生命的意义？按照各人的能力，做适合自己的事情，这种事情有利社会群体、有利人类进步，哪怕是微薄的贡献，哪怕是发出微不足道的光和热，都可以说体现了生命应有的价值，彰显了生命的'意义。人在世间走一遭并容易，珍惜生命，延长生命长度、提高生命质量是每个人必须做的事情，那么怎么延长生命长度呢？我认为：一是生活井然有序，人生按部就班进行，一有清闲就省察人生、思考生活；二是养成读书的习惯，从书籍中认识社会、了解世界，增强自我意识。读书可以跨越时空，领略异域他乡的风土人情，间接经历古今中外的事情；三是游历天下，亲身经历人间事情，让人生经历丰富，阅历丰厚，各种事情都得到体验；四是依循自然、生命法则，顺其自然地完成人生在世的责任、义务，体验生命每个阶段的苦乐，坦然面对人生中各种事情，欣然接受生活中发生的一切。我想这样度过一生，生命算是得到了应有的尊重，实现了生命的价值了。

However, the path leading to them isnt filled with roses. But no matter how tough to accomplish our dream we should never say die.
