一、指导思想
认真贯彻党的十六届五中全会精神和党的教育方针，以邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想为指导，坚持科学发展观，坚持“德育为根本、教学为中心、科研为动力”的办学原则，加强教学常规管理，深化教学改革，推进素质教育，面向全体学生，促进学生全面发展，提高办学质量与办学效益。
二、工作要点
（一）加强教学常规管理，形成严谨的教风
1、认真抓好教学常规的管理，做到目标管理和过程管理相结合，做好经常性的宣传教育工作，强化教师的常规意识和责任感。各教研室都要在年度初制定好结合教学实际的管理目标和措施，并付诸实践，做到教研活动的制度化、规范化。教师要认真备课、上课，认真批改作业，严格课堂纪律。配合教务处通过听课、学生问卷等了解教学情况，做到有检查、有反馈、有督促、有总结、有提高
