教学主题：Learn the Western Festival（Christmas圣诞节，Easter复活节）
一、教学目标
1.知识目标：① 掌握节日的英文说法及节日教学过程中出现的生词，例如： Santa Claus/ Father Christmas，present 等。
② 了解这些西方重要节日的来源及历史。
③ 了解人们是怎样庆祝这些节日的。
2.技能目标：① 能够掌握这些西方重要的节日，并能了解这些节日的重要性。
② 能够正确说出各个节日的庆祝方法。3.情感目标：① 让学生了解西方的节日。
② 让学生了解中西方文化的差异，并能尊重各自的节日。
二、教学重点
1.节日的英文说法及节日教学过程中出现的生词。2.掌握西方节日与中国的不同。
三、教学难点
1.掌握各个不同节日对西方人的重要性，并能正确庆祝节日。2.了解中西方文化的差异。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up 1.Free talk T: Do you know any western festivals?
Conduct students to say “Christmas Day, Easter, ……” Step 2 Presentation 1.Show some pictures about western people celebrating the festivals, let children gue what festival is it.2.let students talk about what they have known about the festivals.3.Teach the origin of the festivals, some symbols, and celebrations.4.Listen to some songs which will be sang in these festivals.Step 3 Practice 1.Learn the song “Jingle Bells” 2.Let’s sing the song together.Step 4 Consolidation 1.Summarize what we have learned today.2.Search the information of the Thanksgiving Day and Halloween.
