(一)Warm-up/Revision Let’s do together.(见图1-1)

What’s his name? Let’s see.(播放Let’s talk 视频)
T: Who got the answer? What’s his name? Ss: Zhang Peng./He’s Zhang Peng.T: Yes.You can say: His name is Zhang Peng.(出示句子卡片)教读句子His name is...出示his,强调尾音。
构建语言支架:What’s his name?His name is...小组合作操练,互相介绍组内成员,引出询问和介绍女生的名字时,要把his换成her.了解his与her在不同语境中的用法。
2.T: Do you want to know more about Zhang Peng ? Where is he from? What is he like? Let’s watch the video again.(再次播放视频)
通过引导学生回答Where is he from? 引出:A Chinese friend.理解句意。通过引导学生回答He’s tall and strong, he’s very friendly.引出语言支架He’s.../He’s very...由动画片《Tom and Jerry》中Jerry的图片引导学生体会短语short and thin 和tall and strong,并强调strong的发音(见图1-2)。由friend引导学生读写出friendly,并理解其意思。
