大家好!我是来自环境卫生管理处的，今天我演讲的题目是《用坚实的脊梁撑起环卫的辉煌》。
玉林自古以来就有“千年古州”、“岭南都会”的美誉，而如今的玉林，借力东盟自由贸易区的商机，借助北部湾经济区的开发，紧紧把握多区域合作的重要战略机遇，以科学发展为主题，以构建社会主义和谐社会为目标，逐渐发展成为开放的玉林、活力的玉林、和谐的玉林。你看，一条条干净整洁的街道，一幢幢拔地而起的高楼，一个个争先落户的企业，玉林正以蓬勃的姿态向人们展现日新月异的面貌。
城市的发展与进步离不开领导者的科学指挥，离不开各行各业人们的齐心协力。然而，朋友们，你是否关注过，有这样一个群体，他的身影活跃在城市的大街小巷;有这样一个群体，他用一把把扫帚扫出了城市的文明卫生;有这样一个群体，恪守着“脏了我一人，干净千万家”的人生格言。这个群体有一个朴实的名字----环卫工人，这是一个人数虽多却毫不引人注目的群体，这是一个没有闪亮光环，缺少社会广泛关爱的群体。但正是这个群体无私的付出，让我们的城市多姿多彩，正是这个群体演绎着平凡岗位上伟大的奉献，正是这个群体彰显着默默无闻中崇高的精神。
正如我们的身心健康是由“救死扶伤”的白衣天使来守护，正如我们的生命安全是由英勇无畏的人民警察来捍卫，我们生活的环境则离不开环卫工人的辛勤劳动，正是他们甘愿吃苦，忘我劳动，为城市除垢纳新，才有这清新优美的环境。每天，从黎明拂晓到夜阑人静，环卫工人那“沙沙沙”的扫地声时而柔和，时而铿锵，为城市平添了一份生动。一年365天，环卫工人起早贪黑，风里来雨里去，清扫着大街小巷的每一个角落，是他们把街道趟平了，扫清了，他们与垃圾作伴，挥汗如雨，晴天一身灰，雨天一身泥，用汗水换来城市的美丽。无论是酷暑还是严寒，无论是天晴还是下雨，哪里最脏，哪里就有环卫工人忙碌的身影，哪里有卫生死角，哪里就有环卫工人劳动的笑声。
随着城市规模的扩大，人们每日生产的生活垃圾猛增，环卫工人的工作量也大幅增加，节假日照常上班已成为家常便饭。尤其每逢新春佳节，到处是辞旧迎新的鞭炮，到处是欢乐的笑声，人们在相互祝福的同时，也赞叹着街道的整洁干净。有谁知道，这里浸透着我们
环卫工人多少辛勤的汗水?为了清洁的明天，他们放下怀中的孩子，离开温暖的家庭，迎着寒风去辛勤的劳动。尽管他们没有听到迎春晚会上的歌声，尽管他们没在除夕之夜陪伴亲人，但是，他们却用自己的辛苦换来了千家万户的欢乐，用无私的奉献换来了万户千家的笑声。
如果说，每个城市的生活，就像一首宏伟的交响曲，那么，环卫工人则像乐谱上的音符。尽管音符是那样的微小，那样的普通，可他们却在自己特定的位置上发出了悦耳的音响。正是一个个小小的音符，才组合成了城市生活的和谐主旋律，正是一个个普通的音符，才谱写出了高亢激越的时代强音。
我赞美你，可敬的环卫工人!你们是创建卫生城市的先驱，你们是播撒文明种子的英雄，你们奋战在城乡清洁工程的前沿阵地，你们无愧于城市美容师的称号!或许你们没有高大的身躯，或许你们没有强壮的臂膀，但你们把青春的热血融入到平凡的岗位，这就是力量，这力量让你们挺起坚实的脊梁撑起了环卫事业的辉煌!

90年前的五月四日，3000多北京学生高呼“外争国权，内惩国贼”、“取消二十一条”、“拒绝在合约上签字”等口号，掀开了中国革命的新篇章。这既是一场影响深远的伟大的爱国运动，也是一场深刻的思想解放的运动和新文化运动。
是的!这就是伟大的五四爱国运动。
在这场波澜壮阔的革命青年运动中，爱国主义精神同科学、民主精神凝聚为一体，共同创 造了既有深刻内涵、又有鲜明时代特征的“五四”精神。“五四精神”是中国青年强烈爱国热情的体现、是一种追求进步的精神、是一种不畏艰难，顽强斗争的精神、它是革命前辈们，给我们留下的一笔中华民族宝贵的精神财富-----爱国、进步、民主、科学。
然而培根曾经说过：“青春是易逝的，你挥霍它，时间也会抛弃你。”作为新世纪的青年，是我们最先触碰时代的前沿，也是我们，心跳牵动着民族的脉搏。
作为新世纪的大学生，我们要树立远大的理想。
人的一生只能享受一次青春，当一个人在年轻时就把自己的人生与人民的事业紧紧相连，他所创造的就是永恒的青春。我们要坚持勤奋学习，立志成才。二十一世纪，信息交流日益广泛，知识更新大大加快。形势逼人自强、催人奋进。我们要跟上时代步伐，更好地为现代化建设贡献力量就必须学习学习再学习，打下坚实的知识功底。我们要善于创造，在学习中要善于创新，善于实践，善于把所学的知识运用到改造自我、提高自我中去，不断成才。
我们要注重锤炼品德。优良的品德对人的一生至关重要。在全社会提倡诚信、讲究文明的今天，已经成为知识分子的青年大学生们更应该树立正确的世界观、人生观、价值观，树立起正确的名利观，努力培养良好的品德，提高综合素质，完善人格品质，做有益于祖国和人民的人。
国家的繁荣富强、人民的富裕安康、社会主义制度的巩固和发展需要几代人，十几代人甚至几十代人的努力。艰苦能磨练人，创业能造就人。青年一代的我们，只有做到勤俭节约、艰苦奋斗，才能顺应时代发展的潮流，才能真正地做到把个人的前途和命运与国家、民族的前途和命运紧密相结合。同人民紧密相结合，为祖国奉献青春，这是当代青年最嘹亮的口号，我真心地希望，这不仅仅是口号，更是我们青年一代的旗帜!
