Protect the Environment, Protect Ourselves
Good morning, dear teacher and clamates!
It’s my honor to stand here to give my speech.The topic of my speech is “Protect the Environment, Protect Ourselves”.As we all know, the environment around us is getting worse and worse.For example, I hate the air in Beijing, because it even can’t be clean for two or three days in a week.The duty air can not only let you feel bad, but also bring you cancer.Not long ago, I heard from news that a foreigner in Beijing insisted running in the morning, however it didn’t help him keep fit, on the contrary, and he got cancer after two years.What do you think about it? Are you afraid of the killing environment?
At this moment, no one can doubt that our environment is getting worse and worse.In the past several decades, hundreds and thousands factories were built in China everywhere.To be honest, it =================made profit for us, but when it was shut down what did it leave us? It left us duty water, polluted air, usele earth, even the disease.One fair happened in my hometown can be a live example.When I was around 6 years old, I enjoyed swimming with friends in river, walking along the ridge, picking wild fruit on the mountain, listening frogs singing in the night, and so on.However, good times don’t last long.A few years later, a factory was built in my hometown, as a result, the water in river became duty, the air was not fresh anymore, the frogs in the field was gone and the environment became worse and worse.Personally speaking, I hate the factory;I hate the duty air and duty water!I mi my previous hometown!
Here, I have some suggestions.For air pollution, we should forbid the factories to discharge smoke and dust before purifying.We ourselves can take public transport, use reusable bags, and call on everyone to care for the iue.For water pollution, we should forbid the factories to pump waste water into rivers or sea before purifying.For ourselves, everyone should save fresh water in daily life and don’t pollute fresh water.Eventually, calling on everyone to take pollution seriously and do every little thing to protect environment.I believe our beautiful city will come back!
