2008, we had held the Beijing Olympic Games succfully;2010,we also made the world expo 2010 shanghai very wonderful.As we all know, whether the Olympic game or the World expo ,all centered on the theme of green,of protecting the environment.Therefore ,now,Iwouldlike to sharewithyoumyopinionsaboutoursurroundings.Let’simaginewhat the earth used to be like.Clear bluesky, crystal-colouredrivers（水晶色河流）, Fresh air andthereareplantyofthreescoveringthe earth.Is this not beautiful?
Earth, our common mother.She gives us all she has.But let’s see howwearerepayingher.Suchaeriouspollution, fellingoftrees,puttingtheindustrialwastesintotherivers andso on.Justforthe
immediate interests of mankind.Now, we are fully convinced that any strand of the web affectsall the others.When the world is in danger, so are we humans.We can’tafford to ignore the situation any longer.So , as high school students we should try to protect the environment.Perhaps we can do some publicity, or in daily life ,wecanpayattention to environmental protection.In any case, thekey todoingitistoremember, wehaveonlybutoneearth!
