机械学院英语协会2011年度工作总结 暨个人述职报告

时光匆匆，转眼间旧历新年的钟声已然敲响。似水流年，回眸2011年度，有收获，有失去，有进步，有不足，有喜悦，也有悲伤。是时候整理这过去的一年，记录下这些，谨作为自己献给新年的礼物。在这里谈谈在英语协会里的工作。
抑或可以说是偶然，让我有幸担任英协副会长一职。英语协会是学院里算得上是比较活跃的集体，不管是在协会工作上，还是协会成员的交流协作上。经过学期伊始的分部门工作，对于每次的策划工作，各部门负责同学都能各司其职，从而保证了活动的顺利开展。
在上一年度里，我们协会举办了“Dialogue·心连心访谈”、“英语风采大赛”、“四级考前宣讲”等活动。这些面向全扬子津校区同学展开的活动都充分展示了英语协会，乃至整个机械学院的风貌。谈谈去年最后一次较为大型的活动——四级考前宣讲。这是我本人负责策划和举办的。宣讲的目的在于为大一新生指点迷津，以助他们四级考试一臂之力。同时，活动得到了我的英语老师的大力支持和鼓励。活动的顺利举办于我自己而言，是一次历练；于整个英语协会，更是一次宣传。向更多的人宣传我们协会的宗旨“创新，自由，合作，提高”。
我很幸运能有这样的一个集体，有爱，温暖，让我有一份强烈的归属感。我自豪，我是英协的一员。就拿上次和水利学院的义卖活动来说，袁会长让我负责带领大一的学弟们在南广场配合水利负责人开展活动。由于各种原因，我们在寒风中站了2个多小时也没有领到任务。最终，大一的孩子们和我几乎都是等到把分给我们的所有物品售罄才顾得上午餐，那是已是下午接近两点。很感动大一的孩子们对我们协会工作的支持，也很敬佩他们对自己工作的执着态度。虽说在职位上，我叫他们资深，但他们平时都能和我保持很融洽的关系。我也尽我所能地帮助他们，已是出于职责，更多的还是真心地想为他们做些什么。帮助别人就是帮助我自己。这也是在英语协会从理事到副会长这一年多来所启示我的。
总结这年度我们协会的工作，我会用“成长”和“成熟”这两个词。成长是相对于2010年，在前任后会长的带领下的英语协会。我们从起先的不自信到把活动办得有声有色。这是一种突破，一种飞跃，更是一种克服种种障碍走向成熟的一个过程。
在接下来的一年中，我们需要做的是把我们协会办得更好。对于我自己，作为副会长，要更多的参与到协会活动中。对于整个协会，我们拟推出Dialogue系列访谈活动，让大家能更多地了解，接近校园里的学习，生活达人。本着自由说英语的原则，让大家多听，多说，多多提高。
这是我们英语协会的宗旨，也是我个人对新的一年协会工作的期望。

Time rush, an instant lunar New Year's bell is already ringing.Retrospect to the past 2011, there is harvest, as well as lo;progre along with deficiencies;joy, but also sad.It is time to summarize this past year, record of these, as a gift for the upcoming New Year.Here I wanna talk about the annual work.Or it can be said that occasionally, I had the honor of the post of vice president of the English Aociation.The English Aociation can be regarded as a more active collective in the whole Mechanical College, whether in aociation work, or members of the Aociation on the exchange and cooperation.After a semester at the beginning of the sub-sector, for each of the planning, the department can perform their duties, in order to ensure the activities carried out smoothly.In the last year, we organized “Dialogue • Heart to Heart Interview”, “English Talent Competition”, “CET-4 propaganda” and some other activities.All these activities carried out among the whole Yangzijin campus demonstrate the English Aociation, and the whole style of our school of Mechanical & Engineering.Take the CET4 propaganda as an example.This is my responsible for planning and conducting throughout the entire proce.Lectures with the aim of direct the freshmen and help them achieve desirable marks in the CET-4.Meanwhile, the activities obtain much of support and encouragement from my English teacher.Self-opinionatedly, the succefully held activity provides myself with an excellent opportunity to get improvement and gain experience.For the English Aociation, is a promotion for the very eence “innovation, freedom, cooperation, and enhancement” for our aociation.I am very lucky to have such a group, which full of love, warmth, and enable me to have a strong sense of belonging.I am proud of being a member of the British Aociation.Still remember the charity donation, which President Yuan asked me to take charge of.For various reasons, we stood in the cold for more than 2 hours until we got the stuffs.Ultimately, the freshmen and I almost waited until all the sub-items sold out before lunch.It was already close to two points the afternoon.I am greatly moved by the support from these freshmen for the work of our aociation, but also admire their dedication to their work.Based on the role, I am the director, but they usually can maintained a harmonious relationship with me.I also try my utmost to help them , one is out of duty, more or sincerely is that I want to do more for them.Helping others is to help ourselves.This is the legacy this nearly 2-year-devotion enlightens me.To summarize the annual work of our aociation, I would use ”growth“ and ”mature" these two words.“Growth” is compared with the 2010, which was under the lead of John Hou.We are not confident enough at first to a resounding succe eventually.This is a breakthrough, a leap, but also a maturity to overcome the obstacles of the proce.In the next year, what we need to do is put our aociation much better.For myself, as the vice president, being more involved in aociation activities.For the entire aociation, we intend to launch a series of interviews like Dialogue, so that we can learn more about, and close to the campus elites.Corresponding with the principle of freedom to speak more and improve more.This is the purpose of our English Aociation and also my personal work of the aociation of the new year expectations.The above is my progre report.
