我的归纳和体会：
根据英语国家校训的语言特点，发现他们极少使用祈使句，而是喜欢名词、动词不定式或句子。比如：西点军校的校训是：Duty, Honor, Country(责任 荣誉 国家)；麻省理工大学的是：Mind and Hand(既会动脑也会动手)；纽约大学的是：To Persist and Excel(坚持与超越)
既然是英文校训，就是让英语为母语者看的，就要考虑互文性。我发现我国很多大学的校训翻译有待改进。下面是一些我认为成功的英文校训：
