Such a book, interweaved chaos and paions.Such a book, confused me but also moved me.It gives me the motivation to stuck myself in this confusion willingly.I have read this book with my hair standing on end.How can the intense emotion of love go to the length of the fierce emotion of enmity? How can Mr.Heathcliff become so crazy? How can Catherine expre her so-called love by betrayal? Someone ever said that every child is an angel who comes from the heaven.Admittedly, unsociable and eccentric, little Heathcliff never was child that beloved by the people around.As a child, little Heathcliff had never been a lovely angel but even been a little freak.As time went by, as a grown-up, frequently being humiliated by Hindley Earnshaw and betrayed by Catherine, Heathcliff became a real devil who had entirely enveloped by enmity and was hoodwinked by the former haze of grief and enmity after his several years′ leave but finally returned.To be or not to be.To live as a respectable gentleman or a brutal evil? Heathcliff chose the later.He chose the way that sells his soul to the hell to become a real evil and obtain the shortcut that lead to revenge.Surrounded by such gloomy atmosphere, I was just like a falling leaf, shaking in the grey mist but seem never having the chance to land.Lightening writhed just above my head.All of these deepen the feeling of ominous—lover’s tragedy.How can lovers turn their back to each other? The heroine – Catherine ever said‘my great miseries in this world have been Heathcliff′s miseries, and I watched and felt each from the beginning;my great thought in living is himself.If all else perished ,and he remained ,I should still continue to be;and if all else remained ,and he was annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger :I should not seem a part of it……I am Heathcliff!He’s always, always in my mind: not as a pleasure, any more than I is always a pleasure to me, but as my own being.’ This is Catherine′s sincere words, which all came out from her heart and even expreed by means of her heartfelt soul.She love Heathcliff, neverthele, she can’t marry him because of her selfish heart and the vanity feature.This is the paradox of love which leads to the tragic end for Catherine and Heathcliff.In my opinion, Catherine is a totally greedy woman.She said that my love for Linton is like the foliage in the woods;time will change it, I'm well aware, as winter changes the trees.My love for Heathcliff resembles the eternal rocks beneath--a source of little visible delight, but neceary.He's always, always in my mind--not as a pleasure, any more than I am always a pleasure to myself, but as my own being.Love is unique.How can she put three people in one love? How can she vainly attempt to monopolize two whole hearts but just give them half each.Her love is not pure!Love is blind, which can be learned from Heathcliff.What he said really impreed me is‘You teach me how cruel you've beenthey'll damn you.You loved me--then what right had you to leave me? What right--answers me--for the poor fancy you felt for Linton? Because misery, and degradation and death, and nothing that God or Satan could inflict would have parted us, you, of your own will, did it.I have not broken your heart--you have broken it;and in breaking it, you have broken mine.’After Catherine′death ,he said following words desperately‘I cannot live without my life!I cannot live without my soul!’So now I can understand his crazy actions, just out of love.Because love is intense, then, jealousy and hatred are much more than it.There is another sentence I will never forget‘If you also exist in this world, then this world, regardle of what, has to me is meaningful.But if you not, regardle of this world have how well, he in my eye is also only a wilderne.But I likely am a fox soul wild ghost.’It show me what true love is.It is the marrow of love, which was given by that lovely evil—Heathcliff.
