Can man triumph over nature?My answer is definitely no.Someone may disagree with my point.But I have my own reasons and they can be listed as follows.Firstly,nature is just like our mother.We cannot live without her.She creates the neceity which we need for living such as air,water,land and so on.Even we human beings are now cultivated and equipped with high-tech,without her generous present,we are nothing.How can we forget her kindne and try to triumph over her?
In addition, to defeat an enemy,one should at least learn clearly about his enemy,while nature is sophisticated and far beyond our understanding.We do know some aspects about her with high-tech.For instance,we get foreknowledge of tomorrow's weather through the forecast and we predict natural disaster so as to reduce loes.However,our ability is limited and science isn't exactly correct.In other words,we haven't learned much about nature so far,to say nothing of triumphing over her.What's more,we cannot bear the consequence of arousing her to anger.As a mother knows her child more than anyone else, what we have done can't be hidden from her.When we become rebellious and show her no respects,to expre her sadne and anger,nature will impose a penalty on us.To be honest,we are too fragile to undertake it.We can never conquer nature for our power is beneath mentioning compared with hers.On the whole,I consider it unneceary and impoible to triumph over nature.Instead of fighting against her,why not be respectful to her and get along well with her?After all,our living condition depends remarkably much on nature.
