hard-wording is too important to deny, while others insist that people cant emphasize the importance of freedom too much.As far as I am concerned, independent is the most significant social value.To begin with, the main generation of 21st century is the ones who born under the family planning policy.It is obvious that most people of this generation have no brother of sister.As a result, they are brought up to believe that they can only depend on themselves to work out their own problems.Furthermore, they believe the motto that “every one for oneself equals all ones for the society”.As a result, their view of social value, independent, must be the central one in the future.What’s more, in the 21st century, there is no doubt that China will have more and more culture exchange with western countries.Therefore, western social values will rush into China and greatly influences Chinese traditional values.As one of the most important social value of western countries, independent might exert positive impact on the values held by the Chinese, and finally will be accept.Last but not least, with the rapid development of economic, there is a dramatic rise of competition between people and people in every aspects of the society.Although co-operation plays an undoubtedly significant role, independent is
becoming more significant day by day.For instance, Chinese education system is focusing its attention on the individual qualities instead group qualities.Another instance is that there sprung out a large number of young people who don’t want to live with their parents as the traditional generation did, because the young generations want to live a more independent life.Taking into account all the relevant factors, which affect and contribute to the current situation, we may safely conclude that the most eential value for China in 21st century is independent.Many reliable information points the fact that Chinese people are becoming independent even a little selfish.We have to accept the fact no matter how astonishing it might sound.However, as one of the new generation, I
strongly believe that young people in the new century will achieve the balance
between independent and co-operation, as well learn to devote themselves to country and family.
